Solar Week 1/3 - Cells & Lamination

Chances are, you've already spotted solar panels before - whether on rooftops, in fields, or even on cars ;) But what sets our panels apart from commercial ones? Here are the three main differences:

1.The Cells: We use monocrystalline silicon cells from Meyer Burger, sourced from the same production line as commercial panels. However, our cells boast higher efficiency compared to their commercial counterparts.

2. The Cell Overlap Size: Have you realized that our cells are not squared, but cut in half! This design not only increases the voltage output to minimize resistance and conversion loss but also offers greater flexibility in cell placement.

3. The Lamination: What sets our panels apart is the advanced lamination. The top layer boasts microstructures, allowing for the capture and utilization of sunlight even when it doesn't hit the panels vertically. This ensures we extract the maximum power from the sun. As you can see, these differences are crucial for maximizing efficiency.
